Pick your currencies

Choose your home currency in Settings and the local one on the Convert screen. Rates load automatically.

Choose a trip, then log

Pick the trip or event, enter what you spent in the local currency, tag a category, and add it.

Review & export

Open the Summary to see totals by trip and category, then export to text or CSV whenever you like.

Frequently asked questions

How do I change my home currency?

Open Settings (top‑right gear) → Home currency, and pick from 50+ world currencies. Every total updates instantly.

Do exchange rates work without internet?

Yes. G+Money caches the latest rates so conversions keep working offline. You can also set a manual rate by tapping the rate bar on the Convert screen.

What are trips & events?

Create a trip or event — each with its own icon and colour — then tag expenses to it on the Convert screen. The Summary groups and subtotals by trip, and exports include it. Prefer not to use them? Just leave it set to “No trip”.

How do I set a daily limit?

On the Convert screen, tap “Set daily limit” in the summary card and enter an amount. You'll see today's spending tracked against it, with how much is left.

Can I add my own expense categories?

Yes — on the Convert screen, tap the dashed “+ Add category” chip at the start of the category row (or add one in Settings). New categories appear first, each with its own icon and colour.

How do I export or back up my data?

In the Summary tab, use Export (text) or CSV to share your records — grouped by trip/event. For a full backup, use Settings → Backup, and Restore to import it back.

Is there a subscription?

No. G+Money is a one‑time purchase — pay once and it's yours, with no subscriptions, no ads and no in‑app purchases.

G+Money is built to be private by design. The short version: we don't collect anything. There is no account, no sign‑up and no tracking of any kind.

① Information we collect

None. G+Money does not collect, transmit, sell, rent or share any personal information or usage data.
We have no servers that store your information and no account system. We cannot see your data.

② Information stored on your device

Your expenses, trips/events, exchange rates, custom categories, language, theme and preferences are stored only on your device using local storage.
This data never leaves your iPhone unless you choose to export or back it up (e.g. to Files, AirDrop or a message you initiate).

③ Network use

The only optional network request is fetching current public exchange rates. This request contains no personal data — it simply asks for rate information and works the same for everyone.
If you stay offline, G+Money uses the last cached rates and makes no network requests at all.

④ No tracking or third parties

G+Money contains no analytics, no advertising, no trackers and no third‑party SDKs. We do not use cookies or device identifiers for tracking.
We do not engage in “tracking” as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency, and we never ask for that permission.

⑤ Children's privacy

Because G+Money collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children. The app is safe for users of all ages and is not directed at gathering information from children under 13/16.

⑥ Data retention & your control

Your data stays on your device until you delete it. You are always in full control: edit or delete any record, clear all data in the app, or remove everything by deleting the app.
Because data is local, there is nothing for us to retain, access or delete on our side.

Consistent with our App Store privacy details, G+Money is marked “Data Not Collected.”
