Detailed policy (English)
Data handling. Child names, selected photos, trips, missions and story cards are stored on the device and, when iCloud is enabled, in the family’s private or shared iCloud database. The developer does not collect or receive this content. Trip Planet has no advertising, analytics, third-party tracking or developer-operated external servers.
Photos and face processing. A parent chooses each photo through Apple’s system photo picker. Apple Vision may detect a face solely on-device to position that photo in a story card. Trip Planet does not identify anyone, create a biometric template, transmit face data or retain face geometry. The selected image and rendered card remain on-device or in the family’s iCloud and can be deleted there by the user.
Sharing and purchases. A parent-gated CloudKit invitation is required before another family member can access a shared trip. Apple operates iCloud and StoreKit under Apple’s terms. The developer receives purchase entitlement status, not payment-card details.
Retention and deletion. Content remains until the family deletes it in Trip Planet, Photos or iCloud. Deleting a trip, child or all app data removes the corresponding app records, including CloudKit records when iCloud is available. Apple may retain account or transaction records under its own policy.
