JSON preserves the nested taxonomy; CSV expands every scenario, target and participation-mode combination into one record.

Privacy and safety by design

Every prompt is optional, adult-supervised and restricted to a safely stationary or seated setting. The taxonomy contains no photo task, score, age band, ability level or completion tracking.

No name, age, destination, precise location, photo, itinerary or completion record is requested.

Three participation choices — not levels

These are interchangeable ways to participate, never developmental or ability rankings.

Watch or point

From your current spot, notice …. Point only when the setting permits and your supervising adult has said it is safe; never ask a driver to look.

Notice or describe

Notice …. Think of one colour, shape, sound or detail. Share only with a non-driving companion when the setting permits.

Plan or create

Use … as a prompt. Invent one kind question, route idea or tiny story alone or with a non-driving companion when permitted.

Official safety references

These sources support selected safety boundaries. They do not endorse the dataset, and current local, venue, carrier, crew, ranger and supervising-adult instructions always take precedence.

Scope and limitations

Method: Original observation targets were manually curated for common family-travel settings, then reviewed for privacy and situational safety. Official references support the stated safety boundaries; they do not endorse this dataset.

This is a prompt taxonomy, not child-development guidance, a safety certification or a substitute for current local, venue, carrier, crew, ranger or supervising-adult instructions. Suitability depends on the actual setting and participant.
