What the records express

METS fileSec records path, media type, bytes and SHA-256 for seven files.
METS structSec maps the five data files and two documentation files.
PREMIS creates one File Object per preserved file with matching fixity.
One generation Event links every Object to organization and software Agents.
One CC BY 4.0 Rights statement links every preserved Object.

Limits stated plainly

The ZIP is only a deterministic transfer wrapper. This resource does not claim a DOI, repository registration, external ingest, certification, endorsement or a digital signature.

Normative sources

METS 2.0 was finalized in March 2025. PREMIS 3.0 remains the current Data Dictionary and XML schema generation.
