The built-in iPhone camera roll is not private — anyone with access to your phone can view your photos. A dedicated photo vault app encrypts and hides your photos behind Face ID or a PIN, keeping them out of iCloud and out of the camera roll.
Zafe stores your photos in a local encrypted vault protected by Face ID or PIN. Photos never reach iCloud or any external server. After importing, you delete the originals from your camera roll — only the protected copy inside Zafe remains.
Ideal for: Anyone who wants truly private photo storage on iPhone without cloud sync.
Download on App Store →Zafe itself doesn't sync to iCloud. After you import a photo into Zafe, you manually delete the original from your camera roll — at which point it will also be removed from iCloud sync on that device.
Zafe requires Face ID or a PIN every time it opens. Without that, the vault contents are inaccessible. Make sure your phone itself is also protected with a passcode.
Zafe is a paid one-time purchase. There is no subscription or ongoing cost.
Yes. Photos inside Zafe are stored locally with device-level encryption. Without your iPhone passcode and Zafe's own PIN/Face ID, the vault cannot be accessed on a new device.
