How to Remember When You Last Did Every Household Chore (iPhone)

The problem with recurring chores is not forgetting to do them — it's not knowing whether you already did them this week. A simple timestamp per chore solves this without a complicated task manager.

Step by step

  1. List your recurring chores in Mochi DoneStamp

Add tasks like: change sheets, water plants, back up photos, clean bathroom, call family. Give each a rough interval — weekly, monthly, etc.

  2. Stamp it every time you do it

One tap stamps the chore with today's date and time. Mochi shows you how long ago each chore was last completed.

  3. Check the dashboard before the weekend

A quick glance shows which chores are overdue and which are fine for another few days. No mental tracking required.

  4. Add one-off tasks as needed

DoneStamp also works for non-recurring tasks. Add anything you want to remember having done and when.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as a regular to-do app?

No. Standard to-do apps are for tasks that happen once. DoneStamp is for tasks you do over and over and want to track the last time they were done — without creating a new task each time.

Can I share the stamp history with a partner?

The current version stores data on your device. Shared household tracking between two iPhones is not available in the current version.

Does it send reminders?

Check the current App Store listing for notification and reminder features, as these may have changed since this page was written.
