This tool does not assess, score, grade, rank, or diagnose a child, and it does not claim that playing this matching game improves memory or any other skill. It only turns your chosen pair count and set number into printable cut cards.

This is a free, independent web tool. It is not the Lumi Bopomofo app, and it is not a diagnostic tool, assessment, or memory-training program of any kind.

This tool does not provide pronunciation or romanization for any symbol; use official Taiwan MOE resources for that.

How these cards are generated

Card selection and order are a fixed, documented algorithm run by this site, not a random shuffle or adaptive activity.

  1. Pick a pair count from 4 to 12; that many of the 37 basic Bopomofo letters (ㄅ through ㄩ) are selected in a fixed rotation based on your set number.
  2. Pick a set number from 1 to 99; each set number rotates which symbols are selected, so different sets cover different parts of the 37-symbol range over time.
  3. Every selected symbol appears on exactly two cards, and the card order is deterministically arranged from your pair count and set number — never a live random shuffle.
  4. Card size only changes how big the cards print; it never changes which symbols are selected or their order.
  5. Print the cards and play offline; nothing about your session is sent anywhere or stored by this tool.

How to play

This is an offline, print-and-cut matching game.

  1. Print the sheet of cards at full size.
  2. Cut along each card border to make individual matching-pair cut cards.
  3. Shuffle the cut cards and place them face down in rows.
  4. Take turns flipping two cards at a time, looking for two cards with the identical Bopomofo symbol.
  5. Keep matched pairs and continue until every card has been matched.

Does this tool score, rank, or diagnose my child?

No. It only turns your chosen pair count and set number into printable matching-pair cut cards; it never scores, ranks, grades, or diagnoses anyone.

Does playing this game improve my child's memory?

Will the same set number always give the same cards?
