Choose the exact symbol set
This page accepts only official Bopomofo symbols and print settings. It never asks for a child's name, age, school, voice, handwriting, answers, score, or progress.
What these flashcards do—and do not do
They place selected official Bopomofo symbols on printable cutting cards. They do not supply Pinyin or example-word equivalents, play audio, listen, grade pronunciation, track answers, diagnose a need, or promise a learning result.
How the fixed card set is created
- Choose a preset or tap the exact symbols you want.
- Selected symbols are returned once each in the official Ministry of Education order, never a live random shuffle.
- Choose 4, 6, or 8 cards per A4 page and decide whether the official category label should appear.
A low-pressure adult-led way to use them
- Print and cut only the symbols needed for the current activity.
- An adult can name a symbol using an official pronunciation source while the learner points, matches, or sorts.
- Keep the cards as an activity, not a score, rank, assessment, or diagnosis; stop when the learner wants to stop.

Printable Bopomofo flashcard questions
Are all 37 basic Bopomofo symbols available?
Yes. The presets use the 21 initials, 3 medials, and 13 finals in the official Ministry of Education order.
Does this page collect or save information about a child?
No. It accepts only a fixed symbol list and print settings in the current page; nothing is uploaded or stored.
Why are there no Pinyin or example-word answers on the cards?
A single Latin spelling or example word can mislead across contexts. These cards stay within the verified official symbol set and link to official sources for pronunciation and strokes.
Want an optional guided Bopomofo app?
Lumi Bopomofo is optional. Its current App Store listing describes playful Zhuyin symbol, sound, and combination activities plus tracing and tone games, free to download with a one-time in-app unlock, that works offline, has no ads, no subscription, and lists Data Not Collected. Verify the current listing before deciding, since features can change. These printable cards work fully without the app.
