How to Use LockHour Pro Focus Sessions on iPhone

1
Set your session duration

Open LockHour Pro and choose a focus session length — 25 minutes for a Pomodoro block, or custom duration.

2
Select apps to block

Choose the apps you want to block during the session. Social media and games are the most common choices.

3
Start the session

Tap Start. The selected apps are blocked via iOS Screen Time for the session duration.

4
Work or study uninterrupted

During the session, blocked apps show a Screen Time limit message instead of opening.

5
Take your break when the session ends

LockHour Pro notifies you when the session is done. Take a break before starting the next session.

Frequently asked questions

Can I override the block during a focus session?

If you know your Screen Time passcode, you can technically override the block. LockHour Pro works best when you don't know the passcode — consider setting one you won't easily recall.

How many focus sessions should I do per day?

4–6 Pomodoro-style sessions (25 min work + 5 min break) is a common target for a productive work day. Adjust to your schedule.

Can LockHour Pro block all apps except one?

You can select specific apps to block while leaving others open. Customise the block list to your distraction pattern.
