Download Zafe from the App Store. On first launch, set your Face ID or PIN to protect the vault.
Tap the + button and select photos from your iPhone camera roll. They are copied into the encrypted vault.
After confirming photos are safely in Zafe, delete them from your camera roll to keep them private. Check Zafe first — there is no recovery if you delete from both.
Lock your iPhone and reopen Zafe. Face ID or PIN is required every time to access your photos.
To share or restore a photo, tap it in Zafe and use the Share button to export to your camera roll or another app.
If you forget your PIN and Face ID is unavailable, there is no back-door recovery — photos in the vault cannot be accessed. Set a PIN you will remember, or rely on Face ID.
No. Zafe deliberately does not connect to iCloud or any cloud service. Vault photos exist only on your device.
Tap + in Zafe and select all the photos you want to move. After importing, review them in Zafe, then delete from the camera roll. Do this batch by batch to avoid mistakes.
