CountDaysNow Support

Clear answers for setting up events, reminders, widgets and backups while keeping your information under your control.

This is an official first-party product page published by Lumi Studio, the developer of CountDaysNow. It is not an independent review, comparison or ranking.

How do I add, edit, archive or restore an event?

Use the add button to create an event and open an existing event to edit it. Archiving removes it from active views without deleting it; restore it from the Archive screen. Restoration is subject to the free limit of 3 active events.

How do I set an end date for recurrence?

In Pro’s advanced recurrence editor, turn on End Repeat and choose the final date. Later occurrences will not appear after that date, while the original event remains stored.

Why did my reminder not arrive?

Allow notifications in iOS Settings and confirm the reminder time has not passed. Free includes 1 reminder per event; Pro provides multiple advanced schedules. Every notification is created locally on the device.

How does Calendar import prevent duplicates?

After granting access, you choose the events to import. CountDaysNow retains the source identifier, so importing the same Calendar item again skips it instead of creating a copy. The app does not change the source calendar.

How do I choose an event for a widget?

Add CountDaysNow from the widget gallery, then press and hold the widget and choose Edit Widget to select an event. Free includes one selected event widget; Pro unlocks every Home, Lock Screen and iPad Extra Large family.

What happens to Apple Watch quick additions while offline?

The watch shows the latest synchronised data and queues each quick addition with a unique identifier. It stays on the watch until the iPhone accepts it after reconnection, so retries and reconnects do not create duplicates.

How does App Lock work?

Enable App Lock with Pro to protect events using Face ID or device authentication. If unlocking fails, check that the device has a passcode configured. CountDaysNow does not receive biometric data.

How do iCloud sync and shared countdowns work?

With Lifetime Pro, optional iCloud sync keeps events and categories up to date across your devices through your private Apple CloudKit database. Share Countdown sends only the selected event’s title, note, target date, calendar system, time zone, all-day setting, recurrence, symbol and colour to the CountDaysNow users you invite; reminders, categories, favourite and archive status, photo backgrounds and every other event remain private. Sync also carries the technical event identifier, created and updated timestamps, and conflict-resolution metadata; invitees can view and edit only the user-visible fields, not this technical metadata. The owner can stop sharing or delete the shared countdown, and participants can leave it.

Does JSON or iCloud restore merge my data?

No. Both restores are replacement operations: after clear confirmation, they replace current events, categories and settings rather than merging them. Make a fresh backup first if you want to preserve the current state.

Is Lifetime Pro a subscription, and how do I restore it?

Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase, does not renew and has no subscription. Apple processes the purchase. Use Restore Purchases with the same Apple ID to recover the entitlement without buying again.

How do I contact support?

Use the email address below and include the app version, device model, iOS or watchOS version, and steps that lead to the issue. Do not send private event names or photos unless you choose to share them.
