No accounts or tracking
CountDaysNow uses no accounts, advertising, third-party analytics or tracking tools, and sends no data to developer servers.
CountDaysNow is designed to keep your personal timeline on your devices, without an account, advertising or tracking.
This is an official first-party product page published by Lumi Studio, the developer of CountDaysNow. It is not an independent review, comparison, or ranking.
CountDaysNow uses no accounts, advertising, third-party analytics or tracking tools, and sends no data to developer servers.
Events, categories and settings are stored locally on your device. Data leaves the device only when you choose an export, an app iCloud backup, Pro iCloud sync for events and categories, or Share Countdown for one selected event.
Widgets share the display data they need through Apple’s App Group, and a paired Apple Watch exchanges snapshots and queued additions through Apple system capabilities. No developer server is involved.
Calendar access is optional. The app reads only the events you choose on the device for import; it does not upload your calendar or alter source events.
Reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device. No developer messaging service or server-side profile is used.
Apple’s LocalAuthentication framework performs unlocking. CountDaysNow receives no face image, fingerprint or other biometric data.
Optional background photos stay locally on the device and are not included in portable JSON or the app’s iCloud backup.
When you opt in, the backup is stored in the user’s private iCloud container, with transfer and storage handled by Apple. You can stop future backups; manage existing data through Apple’s iCloud storage management.
If you turn on Pro iCloud sync, event and category data is stored in your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit so your devices can stay up to date. If you choose Share Countdown, CloudKit shares only the selected event’s title, note, target date, calendar system, time zone, all-day setting, recurrence, symbol and color with the people you invite, who can view and edit those shared fields. Sync also carries the technical event identifier, created and updated timestamps, and conflict-resolution metadata, which invitees cannot edit. Reminders, categories, favorite and archive status, photo backgrounds and all other events are not shared. The owner can stop sharing or delete the shared countdown, and participants can leave it. Lumi Studio operates no account system or data server that receives this content; Apple handles iCloud data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Apple processes the Lifetime Pro purchase through StoreKit. The app receives only the transaction and entitlement status required to unlock features, not payment-card details.
A JSON file goes only to the destination you select in the system share sheet. Neither CountDaysNow nor Lumi Studio keeps a server copy.
