TripBee Lite Privacy Policy

Effective July 16, 2026

Privacy at a glance

TripBee Lite does not require an account and does not contain third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or social-network SDKs. We do not collect or sell personal data.

Data stored on your device

Your trips, itinerary items, notes, traveler counts, packing lists, app settings, and attached tickets or photos are stored in the app's local container on your device. TripBee Lite does not upload this content to a developer server. A backup file is created only when a premium user explicitly chooses Export Backup.

Weather, maps, and sharing

When you request weather or a suggested time zone, Apple's geocoding service receives the destination text to resolve its coordinates or time zone. For weather, TripBee Lite then sends the resolved latitude and longitude, requested dates, and time-zone setting to Open-Meteo. No account identifier is attached, and the developer does not keep a server-side copy. Opening directions hands the selected places to Apple Maps or another map app you choose. Sharing or exporting occurs only after you choose it and uses Apple's system share interface or a destination you select.

Photos and notifications

Photo access is used only for images you select to attach to a journey. Notification permission is used only for itinerary reminders you enable. Selected photos and reminder details are not sent to a developer server.

Purchases

TripBee Lite Premium is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. TripBee Lite does not receive your payment-card details. Apple provides a verified entitlement so the purchase can be restored, refunded, or revoked under App Store policies.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains until you delete individual journeys, use Reset All Data, or delete the app. Deleting the app removes its local app data according to iOS behavior. Purchase history remains with Apple so an eligible purchase can be restored.
