Detailed policy (English)
Data collection. WiFi Aid has no account, advertising, analytics or tracking SDK and does not collect diagnostic reports or history. Reports and history remain in the app's local container.
Network checks. User-initiated diagnostics make bounded HTTP(S) and TCP requests to Apple, Google, Cloudflare and the WiFi Aid health endpoint to test connectivity. The measured results remain on-device and are not uploaded as a diagnostic report.
Wi-Fi identity. With explicit When In Use location permission, Apple's Access WiFi Information API can provide only the SSID/BSSID of the access point currently serving the device. WiFi Aid uses it on-device for the current-network label and local mesh observations. It is not sent to the developer or a third party.
Purchases and deletion. WiFi Aid is a paid App Store download with no in-app purchase or subscription. Apple processes the purchase. Deleting app history or the app removes locally stored diagnostic content, subject to any device backup the user controls through Apple.
