All three RDF serializations describe the same graph. The separate SHACL file defines structural constraints, while DCAT/VoID metadata records checksums, sizes and graph statistics.

Graph model

The concept scheme has three top concepts: initials, medials and finals. Each symbol is a SKOS Concept with one English and one Traditional Chinese preferred label, a typed Unicode notation and exactly one broader category.

  • 21 initials, 3 medials and 13 finals
  • Stable hash IRIs based on Unicode code points
  • Pinyin, broad IPA and example fields
  • Bidirectional broader / narrower relationships
  • No accounts, tracking, analytics or runtime APIs

Questions

What is SKOS?

SKOS is a W3C model for publishing taxonomies, controlled vocabularies and other knowledge organization systems as RDF.

Do the JSON-LD, Turtle and N-Triples files contain the same data?

Yes. Automated graph-isomorphism checks verify that all three serializations contain the same RDF triples.

How are the concept IRIs kept stable?

Each symbol uses its uppercase Unicode code point in an ASCII hash IRI, for example #u3105 for ㄅ.

Is this an official government vocabulary?

No. It is an independent open-data vocabulary that cites official references for verification.

Optional game-based iPhone practice

Lumi Bopomofo provides a separate on-device way to practise Zhuyin through short activities. The linked-data vocabulary remains free and independent.
