Can I add pages to a PDF I already saved in the Notes app?
In iOS 26, Notes supports editing scanned documents — you can tap the scan, tap ··· on a page thumbnail, and insert additional pages. In earlier iOS versions this was not possible natively and required a third-party app.
What happens if I accidentally scan a bad page — can I reshoot just that page?
During the scanning session (before you tap Done), you can tap a page thumbnail and retake it. After saving in the Notes app, you can use the page editing options to delete and rescan; in dedicated scanner apps this workflow is typically more fluid.
