Subtraction never produces a negative result and every division divides exactly.

How it works

  1. Problems are drawn from a small seeded generator, so the sheet on screen is exactly the sheet that prints. “New sheet” draws a fresh seed.
  2. Subtraction always picks the smaller number second, so a beginner never meets a negative answer by accident.
  3. Division is generated backwards from a whole quotient, so every division on the sheet divides exactly.
  4. Multiplication stays inside the times tables — up to 9×9 for the smaller ranges and 12×12 for the larger ones.

What it will never do

  • It does not grade anything, track a child, or store a name. Nothing is saved and nothing is sent.
  • It is not a curriculum. Number ranges and operations are your choice; the page has no opinion about what a given age should be doing.
  • No account, no watermark, no print limit.

Questions

Will the printed sheet match the screen?

Yes. The problems are generated once from a seed and only redrawn when you change a setting or press “New sheet”, so printing shows the same problems in the same order.

Can I get an answer key?

Yes — turn it on and it prints at the bottom of the same sheet in three columns. Turn it off for the child’s copy and on for yours.

Are there negative answers or remainders?

No. Subtraction is always ordered so the answer is zero or positive, and division problems are built from a whole answer, so they never leave a remainder.
