Privacy Policy

PhotoCream is designed to be private by default. The app edits photos on your iPhone and does not collect, upload, sell, track, or analyze personal data. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly how it works.

The short version

• No account. No sign‑up, no login, no profile.
• No ads. The app is never funded by advertising.
• No tracking. No analytics SDKs, no third‑party trackers.
• No backend. We have no servers that receive or store your photos or data.
• No uploads. Your photos never leave your device because of PhotoCream.

Data we collect

We do not collect, sell, or share any personal data. PhotoCream does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks, and creates no user account.

Photo processing

Photos you select for editing are processed locally using on‑device Apple frameworks such as PhotosUI / PhotoKit, Core Image / Metal, Vision and Accelerate / vImage. Reference images used for Steal‑the‑Look are analyzed on device to create editable colour recipes. Images are never uploaded by PhotoCream.

Camera & Photos permissions

• Camera is used only to let you shoot photos with live film looks. Frames are processed on device.
• Photo Library access is used only so you can open photos to edit and save your results. You can save edited photos back to your library when you choose to.
• You control these permissions any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.

Data stored on your device

The following stays on your iPhone and is never sent to us: your settings, selected theme and language; any looks/recipes you save; and your one‑time purchase status (managed by the system). Removing the app removes this data.

Purchases

The optional one‑time unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple’s privacy policy governs that transaction, and restoring a purchase is handled by Apple.

Children

PhotoCream is a general‑audience photo app and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the date above and post the new version on this page.
