1. Data Not Collected
Sereno does not collect personal data. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking SDKs, and no developer-operated servers. We do not receive your usage history, device identifiers, listening habits, saved mixes, payment card details, or location.
2. Everything runs on your device
Sereno synthesizes all sound in real time on your iPhone or iPad using on-device audio processing. There are no audio files to download and no streaming. The app is designed to work completely offline, and your activity never leaves the device through Sereno.
3. No account, ads, analytics, tracking, or servers
Sereno does not ask you to sign in, does not build a profile about you, does not show ads, and does not use third-party analytics or tracking tools. The app does not send your data to any server.
4. Permissions
Sereno does not request access to your microphone, camera, photos, contacts, or location. It only plays audio, including in the background and on the lock screen, so you can fall asleep or stay focused.
5. Local app data
Sereno stores your preferences, saved and favorite mixes, selected theme and language, sleep-timer and sunrise settings, and your Pro purchase status locally on your device so the app can function. This information is not sent to us.
6. Purchases
Sereno Pro is a one-time, non-subscription In-App Purchase processed by Apple. Purchase and restore are handled by Apple's StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment card information.
7. Optional iCloud
If you enable it, Sereno may use your private iCloud (provided by Apple) to sync your own preferences and saved mixes across your devices. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is not accessible to the developer.
8. Deleting data
You can remove your saved mixes within Sereno or delete the app from your device. Because Sereno is local-first and keeps no server copy, removing local content removes it from the app.
9. Children's privacy
Sereno does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else, and it contains no user-generated content or communication features.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
