1. Your resume stays on your device
CV Desk stores your resumes, contact details, and any optional header photo on your iPhone using Apple’s on-device storage. Your resume is never uploaded to our servers. The app works fully offline, including in airplane mode.
2. No account, ads, tracking, or analytics
CV Desk does not require an account or sign-in. The app contains no ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics, and no third-party advertising or profiling SDKs.
3. The ATS score is computed on your device
The Applicant Tracking System (ATS) score and its suggestions are calculated entirely on your iPhone. Nothing about your resume is sent off the device to produce the score.
4. PDF and Word export
PDF and editable Word (.docx) files are generated on your device. They are only shared when you choose to share, save, or print them using the standard iOS share sheet. CV Desk does not transmit your files anywhere on its own.
5. Optional header photo
Adding a photo to your resume header is optional and off by default. If you add one, it is stored only on your device as part of the resume and is never uploaded.
6. Purchases
CV Desk is free to build and preview. A single non-consumable, non-subscription In-App Purchase (CV Desk Pro) removes the export watermark and unlocks premium features. Purchases are handled by Apple; we never receive or store your payment details.
7. Reset and delete your data
You can reset settings or erase all content from inside the app via Settings → Reset. Erasing removes your resumes and settings from the device. This action cannot be undone.
8. Children’s privacy
CV Desk does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else, because it does not collect personal information off the device at all.
