ShotInbox reads only the Photos Screenshots smart album. Its categories and New, Later, Saved and Done states are virtual and do not move or edit the original album.

Categories are inferred from visible content, not the source app. Low-confidence results need review. Optional alerts can be near-immediate only while ShotInbox is running; background refresh is best effort, not real-time or guaranteed.

Widget · Share · App Group

Widget and Share use the local App Group. Portable backups contain identifiers, categories, states and rules—not original screenshots, full OCR text, detected actions or feature prints—and restore only assets still present in Photos.
