Everything happens on your device. There is no account, no ads, no tracking, and no cloud. Your voice and your notes never leave your iPhone, and the app works exactly the same in airplane mode. How does recording work?
Tap record, speak naturally, then stop when you're done. Sono Note creates a transcript and turns it into a summary, action items, and an optional follow-up email draft.
Why is transcription sometimes imperfect?
Speech recognition can be affected by background noise, accents, multiple speakers, distance from the microphone, technical terms, and language availability. Clear, single-speaker recordings work best. Generated output should be reviewed before use.
Does transcription happen on device?
On-device Apple Speech recognition is preferred when supported. For some languages, devices, or recognition modes, Apple may use network-based speech recognition, and iOS will ask for permission.
Which languages are supported?
Sono Note is designed with first-class quality for Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) and English, works well for Japanese and Korean, and offers a natural experience in many more languages. Availability and quality may vary by device, iOS version, and Apple Speech support.
How do free and Pro work?
Start free with 3 notes a day, up to 3 minutes each. Go Pro for unlimited notes, recordings up to 3 hours, PDF export, advanced templates, custom vocabulary, every follow-up email tone, and full backup & restore — with a one-time lifetime unlock or a subscription.
How do I delete my data?
Everything is stored on your device. You can delete notes and recordings in the app (Settings → All recordings), or delete the app to remove locally stored data.
