Your family's privacy comes first

Lumi Trip Planet is built privacy-first and is designed for the Apple Kids Category. The short version: we do not collect, sell, or share any personal data. There are no ads, no analytics, no third-party SDKs, and no tracking of any kind.
None. Lumi Trip Planet does not collect any personal information from you or your child. We have no user accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We do not operate analytics or advertising, and we do not use any third-party tracking technologies.
Information you enter — such as a child’s first name or nickname, trip details, mission progress, and any optional photos you add — is stored locally on your device. Photos are selected using Apple’s system photo picker (PHPicker); the app does not request access to your photo library and cannot see other photos.
If you choose to sync a trip or invite another parent, your trip data is stored in your own private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit, and shared only with the people you explicitly invite. This data goes directly between your family’s devices and Apple’s iCloud — it never passes through our servers. We do not operate any server and never receive, see, or store your content. Your use of iCloud is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Lumi Trip Planet Plus is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, card, or payment details — Apple handles the transaction and shares only anonymous, aggregate sales information with us.
Lumi Trip Planet is designed for families with children aged 3–10 and complies with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU GDPR-K principles. Because we collect no personal data, run no ads, and include no third-party analytics or tracking, there is nothing collected from children. A parental gate guards the in-app purchase, the sharing/export of a Trip Story card, and the co-parent invite, so children cannot make purchases or leave the app without a grown-up.
There is no advertising in the app, no behavioural profiling, and no cross-app tracking. We do not use the device advertising identifier (IDFA).
Because your data lives on your device and in your private iCloud, you are always in control. Deleting a trip, a child, or the app removes the associated local data. To remove data synced to iCloud, delete it in the app on a synced device or manage it in your iCloud settings.
