How do I create a trip and add missions?

Tap “New Trip”, enter your child’s name, the trip type and age range. Lumi recommends a mission pack you can add with one tap, or you can add your own missions. Everything can be edited later.

How does co-parent sharing work?

Open the “Now with / People” screen and tap “Invite the other parent”. After a quick parent gate, iOS opens the share sheet so you can send an invite by Messages. Both parents then see and update the same trip through their own private iCloud — no third-party server is involved. Both devices need to be signed in to iCloud.

What does the one-time purchase unlock?

Lumi Trip Planet Plus is a single one-time purchase (no subscription). It unlocks unlimited trips and missions, all premium theme worlds, family iCloud sharing, the full Travel Passport, every mission pack and high-resolution Trip Story cards.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Go to Settings inside the app and tap “Restore Purchases”, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with. Your Plus unlock will be restored for free.

Is my child’s data and photos safe?

Yes. The app collects no personal data. Names, progress and any photos you add stay on your device, and only sync through your own private iCloud if you choose. Nothing is ever sent to us or any third party, and there are no ads or tracking. See our Privacy Policy.

Do I need an account or internet connection?

No account or login is required, and the app works fully offline. iCloud is only used (optionally) to sync a trip between a family’s own devices.

How do parental controls work?

A parent gate protects the in-app purchase, sharing a Trip Story card, and sending the co-parent invite — so children can play freely without reaching purchases or leaving the app.

The reward or photo won’t change / the app feels slow.

Make sure you’re on the latest version. If the device is very low on memory, closing other large apps helps. If a problem persists, email us with your device model and iOS version and we’ll help right away.
